Connect and Configure Notion

Authorize a Notion workspace, select the destination database, and choose how matching conversation pages should be handled.

Authorize Notion

  1. Open the Grok to Notion popup.
  2. Choose Connect to Notion or Manage.
  3. In Notion, select the workspace you want to use.
  4. Grant access to the page that will contain your Grok export database.
  5. Return to the extension.

The extension only lists destinations available through the Notion access you approved.

Select the destination

Open Sync Center or Quick settings, then:

  1. Select the Notion database from Destination.
  2. Use Refresh if a newly authorized database is missing.
  3. Use Open database to verify the selected destination in Notion.

Grok to Notion prepares the fields required for exported conversation titles, source URLs, timestamps, and content.

Choose conflict behavior

The conflict setting controls a conversation that already has a matching Notion page:

  • Skip existing avoids replacing the page and preserves manual Notion edits.
  • Overwrite replaces the matching page with a new export.
  • Always create keeps every export as a separate page.

This setting is independent from Skip locally synced, which filters conversation IDs recorded in the extension’s local history before export.

Refresh or change access

If a database is missing:

  1. Confirm you still have access to it in Notion.
  2. Reopen the Notion connection and grant access to the relevant page.
  3. Return to Sync Center and click Refresh.

If the authorization has expired or been revoked, disconnect and complete the Notion connection again.
