Connect Airtable

ChatGPT to Airtable uses Airtable OAuth2 to connect the extension to the destination you choose. The extension does not need an Airtable API key pasted into the page.

Select a base and table

1. Open the extension popup.
2. Complete Airtable authorization if the connection is not active.
3. Select the target base.
4. Select the table inside that base.
5. Save the selection before exporting.

The extension can prepare missing fields for the export, including Name, Notes, URL, ChatId, ChatTime, ProjectName, Tags, PartIndex, PartCount, and ParentChatId. An Attachments field is used when a conversation includes media that should be uploaded.

Troubleshooting the destination list

If a newly created base or table is missing, use the refresh control after confirming that the authorized Airtable account has access to it. If the table has restrictive field permissions, choose a table where the extension can create or update records.
