Connect Notion

Connect Notion when you want AIExportHub to save conversations as structured Notion database pages.

Step 1: Open Export Settings

Open the AIExportHub workspace and choose Export Settings. Select Notion as the target.

Step 2: Connect your Notion workspace

1. Click Connect Notion.
2. Sign in to Notion if prompted.
3. Select the workspace and pages/databases AIExportHub may access.
4. Confirm access.
5. Return to AIExportHub.

AIExportHub only syncs to Notion after you authorize Notion and choose Notion as the export target.

Step 3: Refresh and select a database

After authorization:

1. Click Refresh Databases.
2. Open the database selector.
3. Choose the database where AI chats should be saved.

If no database appears, confirm that the database was shared with the integration during the Notion authorization step.

Step 4: Choose duplicate behavior

AIExportHub supports three Notion sync behaviors:

Option	What it does	Best for
Skip sync if exists	Matches by conversation URL and skips existing pages	Recurring backups
Overwrite if exists	Replaces the content of the matched page	Keeping one clean current copy
Always insert new pages	Creates a new page every time	Audits, snapshots, and dated archives

Step 5: Configure long conversation layout

For long conversations, enable Split into multiple pages. This creates smaller Notion child pages so large exports stay responsive.

You can choose messages per page from presets such as 10, 20, 30, or 50, or use a custom value within the allowed range.

What AIExportHub stores in Notion

The extension stores structured metadata where available:

• Title
• Platform
• Source URL
• Created time
• Exported time
• Message count
• Tags

The conversation transcript is written into the Notion page body.

Troubleshooting

If Notion export is disabled:

• Connect Notion first.
• Refresh databases.
• Select a database.
• Confirm that the database is shared with the Notion integration.
• Reconnect Notion if the token expired or the workspace changed.
