Bulk Export AI Chats
Use the AIExportHub Bulk Export Workspace to export many AI conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity.
Bulk Export is for large archives, periodic backups, research collections, and multi-chat knowledge base workflows. It runs from the AIExportHub extension workspace.

Prerequisites
- AIExportHub is installed.
- A supported source platform tab is open and signed in.
- The source tab is connected in the workspace.
- The selected export target is ready.
- For Notion exports, Notion is connected and a database is selected.
Step 1: Open the Bulk Export Workspace
From the popup, click Bulk Export. You can also open the extension options page and choose the Bulk Export view.
Step 2: Choose the source platform
The workspace can detect supported open tabs for:
- ChatGPT
- Claude
- Gemini
- Perplexity
Choose the platform you want to export from. If no valid source tab is detected, open the platform first, refresh the page, then return to the workspace.
Step 3: Choose the export target
Use the target tabs to select:
- Notion
- Markdown
The target summary below the tabs tells you whether the target is ready. Notion requires a connected workspace and selected database.
Step 4: Select content
For ChatGPT, the workspace can export:
- Chat Pages: regular conversation history.
- GPT Projects: conversations inside a selected project.
- Group Chats: ChatGPT group chat conversations.
- Library: opens the separate ChatGPT Library downloader for files and images.
For Perplexity, the workspace can export:
- All Threads: general Perplexity conversation history.
- From Spaces: only conversations from selected Perplexity Spaces.
Claude and Gemini use the general conversation list available from the connected source tab.

Step 5: Choose scope
For normal conversation history, choose:
- Latest: export the currently loaded page of conversations.
- All: keep fetching until the available history is exhausted.
For very large archives, start with Latest first to validate formatting and target settings.
Step 6: Avoid duplicate exports
Turn on Skip Already Exported Records when you want AIExportHub to skip conversations that already have a successful record for the current target.
This is most useful for recurring backups to Notion, Markdown, or PDF.
Step 7: Start the export
Click the run button at the bottom of the workspace. During the job, AIExportHub tracks:
- Total items
- Completed items
- Failed items
- Skipped items
- Warnings
You can cancel active bulk jobs and retry failed items after a run completes or fails.
Bulk export limits
Single export and custom preview are free. Bulk export includes a per-platform free quota, then requires an active Pro or Lifetime plan for unlimited usage.
If the workspace says Upgrade required for bulk export, open AIExportHub Pricing and sign in with the same account after upgrading.
Best practices
- Test with Markdown before exporting hundreds of chats.
- Keep the source platform tab open during the run.
- Use Notion Skip sync if exists for recurring database backups.
- Use Markdown for local archives and Obsidian.
- Use PDF for stable review copies.
- Retry failed items instead of restarting a large run from zero.
